I did my MSc in computer sciences at the University of Warsaw and PhD in computer sciences at the Max Planck Institute for Computer Sciences in Saarbr├╝cken, Germany.

In between the two degrees I worked as a programmer at the R&D department of ComArch in Warsaw and did research on circadian rhythms at the Institute for Theoretical Biology in Berlin.

Between 2011 and 2015 I had a joint postdoc position between the PICB in Shanghai and Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany.

Currently I am a group leader at the Okinawa Institute for Science and Technology in Japan. The details of my past and current research are described here.
